I have stayed at Tan-Tar-A in the Estates many times, and give Dave Huffman's company five stars.
Tan-Tar-A is a resort complex that features a resort as well as privately owned homes that are rented on a nightly/weekly basis for guests.
The check-in, check-out process is very quick and easy, just outside the entrance to the resort complex. Coming from Kansas City, I can't make it down to his office until late on a Friday evening for weekend trips. They have a convenient late check-in box outside their office to enter a code, take your key, and quickly get to your unit.
All in all, I have never had a bad experience with Dave Huffman and Estates Property Management. They are courteous, respond to needs and have great prices. They will make your vacation at the lake exactly what you want it to be...relaxing! I have recommended this company to friends and co-workers on a regular basis. Definitely a GREAT choice!

Review of Tan Tara Estates
we enjoyed our visit in the tan Tara estates, Margaritaville area. Stayed in nice air b&b. Visited the hotel and swimming pool and bar area couple times. Swimming pool is nice, but very crowded and not nearly enough umbrellas for people to use. Deck is very hot also. I believe there are materials nowadays that can be used to prevent that. Have a good selection of drinks, but pricey to say the least. Landshark Bar & grill pretty good, had good waitress. More comments on that in another post. Really enjoyed the 9-hole, signature golf course. We'll maintained, Staff are polite and reasonable rates and course is in excellent shape.

Passing thru town at sunset and wanted best viewing options, so I Googled it. Lo and behold this park came up. We chased the sunset to get there, but finally made it at the end of its spectacular show. It was gorgeous!! Lots of deer seen on the way out, but just looked at them and respected their home. Drive slowly thru this place. There are a lot of animals in the woods. WHAT DID WE DO BEFORE CELL PHONES? We're 60+ and are loving technology. ❤️
